Doomo Arigatoo Gozaimashita - Thank you very much. (Usually said when someone leaves the store)
Arigatoo - Thank you. (formal)
Doomo - Thanks (informal - used in friendly conversation)
Doomo Sumimasen - Thank you for letting me trouble you (used when thanking for troubling someone)
How to say "You're welcome":
Doo Itashimashite - You're welcome (Most commonly used)
Iie. Kochira Koso - No. Thank you. (Used when you are just as grateful to them for their patronage)
Iie. Tondemo nai - No problem at all (Informal)
How to apologize:
Moshi wake arimasen - I am so sorry. I have no excuse (Used when you apologize for something bad)
Sumimasen - I am sorry / Excuse me. (Used to apologize or get someone's attention)
O-matase itashimashita - Sorry for making you wait (Used when you make the customer wait)
